As a long-standing property photographer in a setup where all processes were centralised, Rune K\u00e6seler Andersen missed being independent and having more influence over his work. \u201dI had long been aware that I should do something else, but I focused on my work. There were enough tasks, but my earnings were low, and I had no influence on the final outcome. It started to affect my job satisfaction,\u201d says Rune K\u00e6seler Andersen from K\u00e6seler Image Solutions<\/a>.<\/p>

He has worked as a property photographer since 2005 and for many years supplied images to a major company that handled booking, editing, and delivery centrally. For Rune, this meant a high pace and many properties in one day, at the expense of his professional pride.<\/p>

\u201dBeing part of such a large ecosystem makes it difficult to go it completely alone. The system works, and therefore it can seem easier and safer to stay within it. But in the long run, it's not satisfying to just be a supplier. It wasn't even a collaboration. I only took photos that others edited and delivered,\u201d explains Rune.<\/p>
